Shipping and Returns Policy

1. Shipping

We ship items using Royal mail recorded delivery or by currier depending on the type of item and weight. Delivery charges are automatically calculated by weight and will be displayed in your cart and added to your total.

Glass items

Glass items are nearly always sent using a courier along with any other items purchased. In some circumstances your additional items will be shipped separately at our discretion but at no additional cost to you. We cannot guarantee that glass items  will reach you in good condition due to fragile parts. Glass items are sent in the original manufacturers packaging. Refunds will not be given if a glass item arrives damaged however non glass items will still be eligible for refunds subject to conditions outlined in this document.

Frozen Foods
Frozen food items are not covered by our 7 day returns policy. we will also not refund or replace items that arrived thawed out. Frozen items are shipped using courier or Royal mail special/recorded delivery so they should arrive the next day. We cannot replace or refund items that get delayed in the post especially if you are not available to sign for the item on its arrival. All frozen food orders are made at your own risk, if you do not live in England we don't recommend making a frozen foods purchase.

Royal Mail deliveries usually take 1 to 3 days and orders are usually dispatched the same or next day upon receipt of your order. Please expect your deliveries to take up to 4 days to arrive. You will also be required to sign for your delivery. If you are not available when your delivery is made then it will be delayed further and could result in your items being returned to the depot or even us. You will be required to pay for the postage again if this happens or cancel your order. We will inform you via email and await your response before trying to send the items again.

Overseas Orders

We currently only ship within the UK. Any orders received which have a delivery address outside of the UK will be refunded and your order cancelled.

 

Live Foods

All live foods are shipped separately from Live Foods Direct Monday to Thursday. If you order Friday to Sunday your order will be held until Monday. This is to ensure your live foods are received within 4 days and not left in a  sorting office. Live foods direct try to ensure your foods reach you in the best conditions. If your live foods do not arrive please wait 4 days from receipt of your dispatch email as replacements will not be sent out before this time period. Once your order has been passed onto Live foods direct and paid for by us we are no longer responsible for the delivery and condition of the order. 2. Returns Policy


Returns can be made within 7 days of receipt of your order, you may return any merchandise except Frozen foods purchased from us. It must be in its original packaging, undamaged and we may ask you so send a photo of the damage before a refund or replacement is agreed. Money will be refunded only to the same card used to make the payment and we will only refund the value of the goods not the delivery costs.

Items must be returned to us in appropriate secure and protective packaging along with a printed letter giving the reason for the items returned, your name and contact details and the original receipt or order number.
